In our previous posts we have written about lots of Unlocking tools and method for 3G as well as 2G Datacards and as we all know Huawei Modem supports 3.6Mbps HSDPA speed.The overall performance of Huawei E1550 is very nice, but unlocking HUAWEI e1550 is bit difficult.The following tutorial explains you to how to unlock the Huawei E1550 3G MODEM.

This tutorial can be also used to Unlock Idea netsetter 3G USB Modem(Indian Telecom Service Provider Network),others who own E1550 modem may also try the following tutorial.
- First you have to insert your default SIM which came up with your MODEM.
- Now install E155XUpdate_11.608.13.02.00.B418_Idea_India.exe.zip software.
- When you execute the executable file(E155XUpdate_11.608.13.02.00.B418) you will be asked for Flash/Unlock Code.
- Now you need unlock Code,to get the Unlock code of Huawei E1550 MODEM kindly download the Huawei modem Unlocker
- After you download the Huawei modem Unlocker execute the file.
- When the file is executed You will be asked for your IMEI number.Now enter your IMEI number it will generate a suitable Flash Code or Unlock Code for your Modem.
- Just note down the Unlock code and put it in the Setup (Step 3).

Points To remember:
- Don’t update your MODEM’s Dashboard/Firmware,id you do it you MODEM will become like a Paper Weight.
- When you Open your Mobile Partner if IDEA SIM asks you to enter the PUK code,then just put your IDEA SIM in your Mobile Phone and enter the PUK code.
- If you are not sure about your PUK code then call your Customer Care and get it.
