Top Five Awesome USB Gadgets

The USB port is probably one of the most used on a computer and although it was initially used to transfer data via a flash drive, it was soon found that its low power output could run certain gadgets and devices. In this Top Five we are going to be looking at some interesting gadgets that use the USB port, there are the obvious of course, but there are a couple of surprises too!
Hands as warm as toast
This is something that anyone who starts work early or finishes late could use when the temperature starts to drop and the hands start feeling the cold. These hand warmers are simply plugged into the nearest USB port for nice warm hands so that the work can go on.
These are the details on the USB toast style hand warmers;
Strap some toast to your hands to keep them toasty warm
Plug into your USB port and they get toasty quickly
Set your level of warmth to low or high
Adjustable strap lets you get them as snug as you like
Size: One size fits most hands
Dimensions: Each toast is 5.5″ x 5.5″
Weight: Each toast weighs only 2 oz
Cord length: 57″
Compatibility: PC, Mac, Linux, any USB-enabled device that can handle 5V, 3W with 1.5M USB line.

The elasticated USB cable
How often do you find that a USB cable is just not long enough, which means a reshuffeling of the work space in order to connect the devices. However, this could be a thing of past thanks the Japanese based Asahi Kasei Corporation and their clever Roboden USB cable.
This cable looks like any other USB cable, but with one difference, this cable is able to stretch by a factor of 1.5 times. It uses Spandex to connect devices, transfer data or power up a gadget. The uses for this sort of cable are almost endless and in fact, there are probably a lot that we have not even thought of.
Currently there are no prices for this cable available

This is one for all Legend of Zelda fans, it’s the Master Sword USB Flash Drive designed in the right style and made from wood, which not something that you expect a flash drive to made from.
